Sooo…. i decided that im not going to post in order of dates, but in events instead… yeah… thats my fault since i haven’t been posting everyday :P
Anyway during the first week Kristin and I went to Hongdae just to check it out and we happened to come across the trickeye museum! The museum had been on our lists of things to do and apparently its one of the trickiest (<–haha see what i did there :P) places to find, so we decided to go in since we had time anyway.
The trickeye museum is a museum that has a lot of ‘painted pictures’ that are interactive and you stand near these paintings and do different poses and take pictures and in the picture it looks like you’re part of the painting. It’s really cool.
The museum itself is within another or of building you could say. It’s located in a basement of a building but its within another sort of spanish-y looking place… i dont really know how to describe it but its pretty cool. Anyway the stairs to get to the basement where trickeye is is past the forever21 down the street from hongdae station. when you cross the street theres two lanes, one on the left and one on the right. if you take the one on the right and just keep walking theres a structure/building with stairs that looks a bit like a subway station entrance but make of glass i think… anyway theres a sign that says trickeye.
The museum itself its actually really cool. There were a lot of people in there when we went so it was quite crowded but still it was really fun. The only thing is that i thought that it was really hot in there. Actually i find that in most places in Korea they dont really turn up their aircon very high even though its like 30 degrees in there.
Anyway i really reccomend this place, but make sure you go with friends. (better to go in a group of more than two because there are pictures that you can take in pairs, so its better to have a third person there to take the picture) The museum is SUPER fun and definitely a highlight of our trip!
